PAVAROTTI

ABOUT THE FILM | The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart Ron Howard’s PAVAROTTI, produced by Imagine Entertainment and White Horse Pictures, explores the journey of this incredible man, who was born a peasant, the son of a baker, in remote Northern Italy. His journey from there to being the most popular and possibly greatest opera tenor to ever have lived is filled with hard work, his incredible talent,  heartbreaks and joy.

The film explores, in a fresh and contemporary way, how a mere mortal can become an opera singer such as Pavarotti. The endless training, the learning of musical theories, and the stage presence. The film puts the audience front row and center for the experience of the Voice and legendary performances. Behind all that, the film reveals Pavarotti’s struggle to find purpose and peace, having conquered the world and enjoyed extreme fame. The end of his marriage, his new love and his embrace of the responsibilities as a world citizen, devoting the rest of his life to philanthropy. This cinematic event features history-making performances, intimate interviews, and extraordinary never-before-seen footage.

The film is directed by Academy Award® winning director Ron Howard who produced alongside Nigel Sinclair, Brian Grazer, Michael Rosenberg and Jeanne Elfant Festa. The creative team is joined by Eight Days A Week award-winning writer Mark Monroe and award-winning editor Paul Crowder. White Horse’s Guy East and Nicholas Ferrall serve as Executive Producers along with Crowder and Monroe. Cassidy Hartmann serves as a consulting writer and Co-Executive Producer.
